Listening To Understand, Not To Reply

DAY 72: 90 Days. 90 Sparks.

Most people listen to respond.
Not to understand.

They’re already thinking of what to say next.
Half-hearing. Half-planning.

But real listening is different.
It’s quiet.
It’s focused.
It’s generous.

It means giving someone your full attention.
Not just your silence.

It means holding space.
Not jumping in.
Not correcting.
Just being fully present.

When people feel heard, they trust.
When they don’t, they pull away.

So if you want to lead well, start by listening well.
Not to fix.
Not to win.
But to really understand.

Today’s Spark:
Want to lead better? Start by listening better.
