Christmas is when I find myself looking back at the year that was.

When the pace eases, I start noticing moments I didn’t fully see while living them. The conversations that stayed with me. The days that drained me. The ones that surprised me.

Not everything went to plan. Some things took longer than I hoped. A few didn’t turn out as expected. But there’s a quiet honesty in looking back without trying to fix or frame it. This season feels less about celebration and more about acceptance. Of effort. Of imperfection.

Before the year turns and everything begins again, I’m choosing gratitude for what carried me through, and quiet optimism for what’s still ahead.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and joyous Christmas!
