DAY 47: 90 Days. 90 Sparks.
Early in my leadership journey, I wanted to be liked.
I avoided hard conversations.
Smoothed over disagreements.
Tried to please everyone.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
If your goal is to be liked by everyone, you’ll end up leading no one.
Because real leadership means:
– Making tough calls
– Setting clear boundaries
– Saying things people might not want to hear, but need to
It’s not about being harsh.
It’s about being honest… with empathy, but without compromise.
Today’s Spark:
The goal isn’t to be liked. It’s to be trusted.
