Some of the most ineffective leaders I’ve seen looked amazing on paper.
Strong credentials.
Clear communication.
Even solid results.
But their teams didn’t thrive.
Why?
Because they were leading from the outside in.
Not the inside out.
They had the tools, but not the awareness.
The drive, but not the clarity.
The ambition, but not the trust.
And leadership, I’ve come to realise, is an inner game.
