DAY 52: 90 Days. 90 Sparks.
Early in my leadership journey, I feared being too direct.
I softened my words. Delayed difficult conversations.
Left expectations unspoken, thinking it was more empathetic.
It wasn’t.
Ambiguity doesn’t protect people.
It confuses them.
It frustrates them.
It sets them up to fail.
Real kindness isn’t about avoiding discomfort.
It’s about offering clarity… early, honestly, and consistently.
Clarity about roles.
Clarity about standards.
Clarity about what success looks like.
The best leaders aren’t just clear in their minds.
They’re clear in their words.
And that clarity creates safety, accountability, and trust.
Today’s Spark:
Clarity isn’t harsh. Ambiguity is.
